So, in an attempt to get my Flame to elite/master, I went ahead and bought a C1, having some luck with the following build:

Short version:
2x arm medium lasers
2x torso PPCs
1x SRM6
XL350
Endo/Ferro/DHS

I've seen similar builds..
Does it work? Snipe until they close in and use srms and MLAS?
Interesting to see FF and ES and an XL fit in a heavy...

I have 1 spare crit slot <_<
It works decently, though mainly I end up using the 2x PPCs as a mid-range weapon, taking potshots while moving through/past.
Actively sniping people with it has just shown me that I'm wasting the speed of the build. Also with said speed it's very easy to get back outside minimum PPC range.
