Something I got used to having in Battlestar Galactica Online, match speed button and max speed button.

Not such a big deal for the Assults, but for a the movers (lights, mediums and heavys), a lot of your fight depends on moving with speed and basically dogfighting on the ground. You don't necessarily want to be at max throttle all the time and it would be nice to have some extra options to meter your speed beyond throttle up and down.
