Nice game, but really needs a que for trial mech only. Starting out is so brutal. I have bearly kept up playing. Almost every game is dominated by Min/Max built Mechs.

Yes unfortunately the learning curve is rather steep right now. But the developers are working on something to balance players out a bit more using rank based match making. This should solve most of your problems as you'll be matched against people of equal skill. You can read more about it here:

Until then your best bet is to jump onto Teamspeak and join find a pickup group there. (You don't have to join a clan to do that). People can show you the ropes in so far you haven't found them yet and by working together (most of the time) they'll keep you from dying so much.
