There are perfectly good other voice programs out there that are easy to use. I dont want them spend anymore resources on a crappy ingame voip. What will ruin this game is if solo people are catered to. MWO is a team game and should be balanced around team players.

I think most of us here would agree that this is a team based game,I know I do. That doesn't mean that every player needs to go out and join or form a clan,we should be able to drop solo but have the tools to be able to work with the other players on our team. The best way to do that will be with a built in voice chat.

Anything with cosmetics, hud displays or Icons i'm all for.

ECM jamming or effecting any game mechanic although I think it would be cool. You'd have people up in arms and the 3rd parties used anyway since they can't be jammed or disrupted.

I most sertainly would use an ingame VOIP. I would also join a squad if my computer met all of the minimum requierments (A little short RAM and weak Videocard). But, I don't want to right now. The less then 10 frames per second makes it tricky to make fast reactions, it's also embarising and I would rather stay a PUG till I get a better computer with income tax. I don't want to bother a regular group with the fact that I am gimped by my computer.

I generaly, play the support role in group/team based games. MechWarrior Online is no exeption. I mostly, favor snipeing. Being able to tell the group who I am sniping and who they want me to snip would be a huge help. They can lure a target into the open so I can get a clear shot. I would also, love to try artillery (if they add it). In the case of artillery, being able to hear a spotter help with aiming at ranges beyond my range of sight would be almost requiered.

Yes, they need to finish the job they started with the partial integration of C3. Just so long as they use STO's integration of Vivox as an example of how not to do it.

Using voice comms has its own intrinsic value, no need for added bonuses.

not really...it is a matter of convience, resources used in the pc and wanting a fast team up with people for a couple matches. But in my case i do not have a mic. Nor will i go out to buy one just for a game and or dload 3rd party software to play. Most general public gamers are casual, and do not see the need to do this since most modern fts games already have it built in. I do not want to install alot of software on my pc in general, its my rig and i just dont want it. So there are several reasons not just 1.
Anyways, its not in the game now, and i do not see the devs even to attempting to do this since all the issues they are having now...i have 0 hope.

Sounds like cutting off your nose to spite your face based on your comments....

"Oh no third party software!" - give it a rest... they aren't shady.... they are well known and tested.... this is a YOU thing.

I honestly think you need to check out the bigger TS servers.... MANY people find groups quickly and are done quickly.

This really is a laziness issue or an ignorant principled issue.
