I've put together a handy dandy translation guide for those of you that may be having difficulties understanding what some people are talking about when they post responses on the forums. It's a jungle out there and it can be hard to interpret what some people are really saying! Hopefully this will clear up any misunderstandings!

When someone says:

"Learn to play"
Translation: This equipment works in such a way that complements my play style so I don't want it changed. You should just change the way you play to be the way I play.

"ECM is fine"
Translation: I have no concept of game balance.

"It's still in beta"
Translation: I have no explanation, justification or defense for why this is the way it is.

"X is OP"
Translation: I got killed by this once or twice and I'm really good at this game so it's obviously broken.

"It's not tabletop"
Translation: I don't have a valid argument or suggestion but I want to be a part of the discussion and appear important and smart so I'll just say this instead. Oh look, cookies!

What this thread seems to translate into is that it's trying to say every poster alive is an idîot.

"ECM is ruining MWO"
Translation: WHHAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

"ECM is unbalanced"
Translation: WHAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

"Premades are ruining MWO"
Translation: WHAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
