Title says it all, but I shall provide more:
Anyone play Spore? or look at the Procedural Generation involved?
It would be very cool if the map could be generated randomly (within certain constraints).
Bases would be placed equal distance a part on the peripheral of the terrain.
The largest size (width and height) of the mechs we have would be considered in this generation so that movement is not hindered anywhere on the map except where mountains, buildings, etc. are generated.
This would open up a new sense of strategy (forced) as each map would be different.
Just an idea.
