I would like one that let you see the path enemy mechs are taking, and maybe some more detailed information, like ammo levels.

Already been mentioned, but worth repeating/adding to:
* Flush coolant; one use per match, dumps heat to 0 by replacing coolant.
* More vision modes. Energy detection as an overlay on your current view, maybe? Particularly awesome if it allows you to see a powered up mech through a limited amount of cover, say, a small building.
* A module allowing a pilot to reduce the effectiveness of enemy ECM for the pilot only - Make lockon's possible, but only while in direct LOS and the crosshair is held on the enemy, so it must be maintained for the entire flight, or perhaps reduce the jamming range by half, or just have the ECM status effect on the pilot flicker on and off. Details aside, not a hard counter but something that reduces the ECM impact.
* MASC

Also:
Zoom that's actually useful, instead of looking like terrible digitally zoomed blur (ok, this is fixing an existing module)

For me, personally though? JUST GIVE ME A DAMN CENTER LEGS TO TORSO BUTTON.

ECCM. Normally that would be BAP, but whatever.

I think a useful addition to the module choices would be one for reduced "falling" damage. Very useful for scout mechs. Just running around relatively flat terrain will often end up doing quite a bit of damage to light mechs during the course of a match. The smallest rocks and change in elevation cause damage to a light mech.

Space PPC targeter, unlimited use per match, home on to enemy mechs, does 500 damage, can shoot through buildings and caves and walls. 5 second cooldown.

My Cicada would love this.

I want functioning radar module, not this LOS spotting crap we have now.

There won't be coolant flush, stop asking for it.

Most of the suggestions here are forms of equipment, not modifications of existing features (the ability to gather info faster, retain target 360, etc.).

How about Reduced film grain and extended range on thermal vision? Extended night vision range too maybe.

Also, what about a module that physically highlights damaged points on mechs (edit: for clarification, I'm talking about when you're actually looking at the mech, have a UI overlay highlight specific areas that are especially vulnerable), or that pinpoints where ammo is located and see's if they have case, making targeting specific areas more tactical? Or maybe tells us more about the mech itself, whether it's running an XL engine or not, or what modules they're using, etc.?

An overhead spotting drone similar to the initial MW5/MWO teaser trailer.

1) The ability to turn my mech on a dime. (For mediums, Heavies and up)
2) Something to counter ECM for pilot with Module only.

A mod that adds a wire frame overlay ontop of mechs on the screen that works like the wireframe mode in MW2. The wire frame overlay changes colors as the mechs take damage just like the paper doll does. It just shows up on over the mech.

Better neurohelmet, which lessens the chance of your losing balance in your 'Mech and falling over

enhanced imaging module which allows you to go into 3d mode and see third person and rotate the camera around the battlefield

Gyro/radar/lasersight
- shows the lead where you need to aim "R"-targeted enemy to hit him, even when he's moving sideways.
- adjusts automatically weapons pinpoint to "R"-targeted enemys distance and updates it constantly matching the situation
- counteracts ECM-effectness on locking targets when LOS-enemy is on reticule, but gives information only to use direct-fire weapons (cannons, lazors, SRM) in mech that is using it. Indirect-fire/locking missile weapons (LRM) still need TAG for sending the infomation, and other mechs need sightmodules of their own.
- max. range 360m (LOS required)
- calculates lead based on fastest-bullet ballistic weapon carried (to avoid too complex maths. Actually this is already done, but not shown to players)

SSRM is though still troublesome 'cause it's locking & tracking direct-fire weapon, but it should work w/ this module IF you keep the target on reticule whole time. ECM still counters 360 Target Retention complitely.
If needed to keep things simple, I can live without SSRMs.

With this, and removing energy hardpoint requirement from TAG, ECM should have enough countermeasures to cut most of the whining, and biting heavies ankles become dangerous again to those annoying ECM-lights :) So far it has been kinda stupid that something can only be nullified by itself.

yes, especially the ECM counter.

I want a module that lets me play music in an area around me.
I would pilot a Flea.
I would play this music

Most posts talk not about modules but some are great suggestions for other items:

Flushing coolant would be great, but not as module.
More like a heatsink that uses ammo. 1 critslots (only useable in mechs head), 1 tons, 25% heatreduction over 5 sec. for 1 ton of ammo.

Better gyro to reduce shacking or fallingdamage is more like an upgrade than a module. But it would be great too. Would like to give it a weight of 1 ton for every mechclass (lightgyro 1 ton, assaultgery 4 tons)

Extraams as a module is not ok, but a modul that gives your ams greater range (+50m) and greater effect (normal ams shoots down 4+ missiles, with module shoots down 5+ missiles). Together this module will give you a 25% greater effect in range and shoot down missiles. Gives more value for dualams users.

I can't imagine how many people would abuse this and use the most vulgar music possible. :)
