Lost Equipment

I just sold the worst mech in the game but wanted to keep the weapons/engine/equipment that I had in it. When I sold the mech it just took all the equipement that was inside of it as well.

I had done this on a previous mech and I had kept everything so I know this is not the way it is supposed to be(unless that was a bug). So my question(s) is why did it keep my gear and what can I do to get it back. I lost well over 6 mil in equipment (sold 2 dragons - 1 with an xl engine). I only recieved credit for the mech and nothing else.

I have consigned myself to just playing power builds because that is the only thing rewarded in gameplay now but with this HUGE set back, it is almost to the point of why bother.

I thank any help.

If the "item value" box was checked then the mech is sold with all of it's equipment still on it.

You know you don't get back what you paid for something, right? So if it looked to you like you got back what you paid for those Dragons, the sad reality is what you got back in C-bills is what the Dragons and everything you had installed on them was worth on the resale market.

You might try sending a ticket to support@mwomercs.com and see if they'll take pity on you. Don't hold your breath though.

You can strip the weapons and equipment. You'll then notice that the "item value" section is noticeably lower.

I can make well over 6 million C-Bills a day... however, I melt face and play match after match for... up to 10 hours a day if they had enough going on.

:)

I did not check to box to sell items. I sold only the mech and got a little over a mil for it. If the gear had been sold as well then I would have gotten over 3 mil more per mech but I did not get that.

M4NTiC0R3X if you make over 6 mil a day then you are playing a power build...try doing that in a dragon.

Open a ticket and explain in detail what you lost and when try to be as specific as possable in the space provided, with any luck they may give you at least an answer and if nothing else you report a potential bug.

I've sold 4 mechs to date, I've stripped them manually first then sell. Don't trust the buggy mechlab.

I did over 10 million in a day once, without Premium, without jumping mechs (I spectacte 'til the end of matches), on a Dragon.

...of course it was the only good Dragon variant in the game, which also happens to have a +30% C-bill bonus. ;-)
