Been in to many matches where the last person will DC to save KDR and ends up bugging the match so you have to cap. This wouldn't aggravate me to much except if you don't have enough time to finish the cap and it ends up being a tie instead of a win.
If you're about to die, suck it up and take the loss instead of backing out and bugging the match for the rest of us.
Although, this is probably to much to ask for.... silly me.

I had someone do this the other day to me, took off his left torso about to core him and he DC's leaving no one to get the kill.
And not to mention assists count as kill if people are worried about internet statistics...

the saddest thing i've seen in this regard is a full armor atlas dcing because he was a missile boat as soon as my centurion got close to him 1v1
they'll fix this eventually

I've only done this a few times and it had nothing to do with my KD ratio, I just got pissed off at a particular cheese build that was running rampant at the time and kinda wanted to **** off the pilots of said cheese build. I don't do it anymore, though the ECM/streak lights really tempt me!

The other night I was in a match where it was just me and one other mech and after legging the guy, i was working on his torso and he DC'd right before I killed him. Had to try to cap the base to win cause the match bugged out, but not enough time left to do it so it ended in a tie even though I was the only one still alive. I don't care if you want to chicken out and DC instead of taking a death, but it is aggravating to waste time to try and do a base cap when the matches bug.

That's not as bad as the majority of the other team DCing one at a time when you're about to kill them. We had this happen to us twice! Team locks target moves in for the kill and once the person realized it was a lost cause they alt+F4 out of the game. We managed to kill 2 and get credit for it, then they started to DC as we tried to kill them.

When you DC the game still counts you as a death, it just doesnt register the other person getting a kill
Quit being a killwhore

What's even more embarrassing, is when there's people in 8 mans doing it when you steamroll them.

I dont get the "tie" thing that goes on with the timer running out...
whichever team has killed the most gets rewarded with that victory, if there are the same number of people than either overtime where the first person to die loses, or the team who's done the most damage walks away the winner

If you DC it doesn't count as a death to your KDR. If they fixed this, show me where it says it's fixed. The main thing that annoys me is how it bugs out the game when you DC before death. And yes, its still a tie if the game gets bugged and time runs out without a cap.

Wow I'm tired of people whining about it....
...in my experience its very rare, could possibly be a crash, considering how rarely I've ever had a guy do it to me compared to the times I've crashed in the middle of a fight, I'd say its near impossible to say if it was a genuine crash or intentional with the exception of a few extremely rare circumstances that are far to rare to do anything about but report.
From how emotional so many of you get about it, you're irrational ideas of what should be done to them, it seems to me you care more about your stats than the guy who more likely crashed than trying to screw you out of a kill.
Get over yourselves. Its just not that big a deal.
