I read the forums regular and see mostly complaints, some about the superior piloting skills of some of the players but mostly about the mechanics of the game and people trying to express their opinion on how such problems could be resolved.

I have stopped pointing out faults / bugs / breaks....in the game because it appears that the majority of the community that respond to them just troll the author instead of being constructive, that is something that has to be addressed if the developers are going to get genuine feedback from the players that actually want this game to become a leader in the free to play market.

So many things need to be fixed, including some of the players but i dont expect the developers to be able to fix everything lol, but i will put this question out there:-

When is the net-code going to get fixed so that the game mechanics work properly?

running the game through a de-compiler with a local server runs just fine with slight deviation in the coding to allow for the local server, so from the client side of things it runs well outside of optimization even with the small exceptions that appear during game play. Now that i can deal with, but the way the netcode is at the moment is just nuts, its not funny anymore................

Maybe you should read dev posts and patch notes instead of posting the same drivel that's been posted 7 and a half million times this week alone.

7,500,000 sounds a bit low, IMO

When people learn how to critique and criticize in meaningful and constructive ways without resorting to threats of mass exodus, stammering fits of rage and bouts of tourettes... they will be taken seriously and constructive discussion will ensue.

Till then we have to wade through cascading waves of deification to glean useful input and opinion.

Most of the people with posts worthwhile would post their ideas and whatnot in the Suggestions forums, would they not?

Not if they believe they will make more than 80 million by sticking with the game.

Yea but how long would that take? Even if the Jan 15th patch made the game the best game ever and the playerbase exploded.
How long until they would make 80million in PROFIT?My guess is a few years. If they really only cared about money and got offered 80million, they'd have taken in. (but that never happened so move along)

If the devs are money hungry, wouldn't they take the 80mil then?
BTW, I'm pretty sure you're making this up and/or trolling. Many others agree.

This. The signal to noise ratio has dropped sharply since the early days of closed beta.

80 Million is enough for 1 -10 people.
If this is story is true, then perhaps they truely believe in the product, and want to turn out a unique and quality product overtime. (keyword - OVERTIME). And not just have an other EA churn out the same old boring games, but now with fancier graphics.

This game will never be a contender to any other F2P games. It has shoty devs who only care about making their wallets fatter and do not care to make the game grow. It is truth when I tell you this. They were offered millions to be bought out by someone who would care and they turned him down. Paul and his lowbie cronies only wanted the money and were not willing to take 80+ million and leave the company so that it could be better. They failed and this game fails.
