Hello Everyone!

Really happy to be here.I just found out about this game 2 days ago, and I'm more in love with it than any shooter/simulator on the market right now.

I've always been a huge fan of Mechwarrior games, and this here is the icing on the cake of roboty goodness.

That being said, I'm still pretty terrible. I've been reading everything I can get my hands on as I realize games like this have a huge learning curve.

Right now I'm piloting a fairly standard Gausscat build with an XL 265 engine and 2 medium lasers in the ears that i keep in a second weapon group to prevent overheating. I only carry 40 rounds, mostly to get in the habit of ammo conservation and making every shot count, also I usually die before I get below 25% anyway!

A lot of my mistakes are coming from being new, but more so because it seems PUGS don't always have the best communication.

I'd really like to play with people who take this game pretty seriously and use vent or some other VOIP. Whether its a clan/guild/faction, or just a random group of friends that play pretty regularly I would love to join you!
