I have two mechs that mount an LB10X, a Catapult K2, and the Founder's Hunchback. When I'm playing, about 75% of the time when I squeeze the trigger, the shot will land as if I was aiming about 30 degrees away from where I actually was, in either direction. If it was always lagging behind, I'd chalk it up to, well, lag. But sometimes it's way out in front too. Anyone else have any experience with this?

Both are torso mounted. The way your torso is pointing is server-side. Yes, it's lag and your twist speed. Yes, it's part of why playing MWO properly results in shooting silly distances ahead of your target to hit them.

Do you understand the consistent netcode gripe now?

I understood the consistent netcode gripe a while ago, because I'm the guy who always winds up shooting at scout mechs. I just didn't realize how much trouble it caused.
