Agree, pre patchmas i had a 6SRM6 artemis cat that i lose money on everytime i run it (even for wins)

I run it for 8man only because it was not cost beneficial to run in Pugs.

There is no real matchmaker system, op. Complaining about something they haven't actually added yet.

A couple of reason why I play 4-man only:
  • I am a declared Medium Pilot. Mastered CN9s and HBKs - if you meet me in a battlefield, i will most of the time be a HBK or CN9. I can screw around with other Mechs, but i m not even closely effective with them.
  • 8-man drops are broken and killed my fav Class. being a Medium in 8-man is a liability. I play this game for fun, not because be competitive and spoil all of the broken code and unbalances this MM has at the moment makes me feel any better

On Assault, very similar. We played that, we were unable to find a match for long time, finally got something and we played. Then tried again and got the same team. No other ppl aroud. - This should tell a long story about how broken the 8-man drop can actually be

With that said, when we drop in 2, 3 or 4 ppl in my DHB group, we do not Sync drop. We drop to have casual fun. and I underline CASUAL because this game is nothing more than Casual.

There is no motivation, no scope other than merely kill others. I have no particular fun to kill Pugs. Actually i don t care who is on the other team or who is with us. We play. Most of the time we win, sometimes we lose.


Period. When we wing there are probably 4 or more Pugs HAPPY because they were on our side and there are 8 other players upset (possibly) on the other side because they lost. Isn t like this in any other game?

Another bit of a comment on the OP thread:
Gaussapults on Premades?

Man, you are behind a patch or two. Gaussapult are no more the Premade choice since pretty long time. Actually they are not the choice of almost anyone anymore. I can t tell how long i don t see a GP around and i play almost every day.

That group you played with was the only not aware of how Gauss is glassy nowadays?

Bottom line, don t cry around. If it was a premade (which I am not so positive) your result being in a not communicating drop was quite good indeed.

Why transform a GOOD result in a new (old) ranting and whining thread?


We used to have friendly scrims between ARMD and DHB before the teamwork is OP patch

Even then we were playing 2a 2h 2m 2l... We can institute ecm limits to make it more balanced...

Will probably have to schedule weekend because of the timezone.

The common and lamest excuse is that they need 8man practice so they need the PUGs as target dummies...

So because 8 people you fought against paid $120 to PGI makes them a group that chose to click two buttons in the unguaranteed hopes to get in the same match on the same side? That's just amazing, I am part of a group that has 6-8 players on a good night, only a small portion of us paid into the Founders program. It's funny for you to think that paying money to play gave us something that is guaranteed to kick the living daylights out of those that didn't.

I'm surprised he's complaining more about a mystical unproven sync drop that would have Pugstomped his group if it was an actual one (unless it's a team fielding ****** mechs for lolz (I've done 4 man machine gun drops)) and not about how he got capped with 5 players left like 25% of the forum (70% complain about ECM and the last 5% premades)
