I'm sure this has been brought up before, but it would be nice to have a target reticle that actually showed me where my f**king arm weapons are pointed.
Why can't I have separate reticles for right and left arms and torso weapons?

You do have different reticules for the torso and arm weapons. One is a circle and one is a cross. You can see the different reticule shapes next to the weapons grouping window which is split into 2 different sections, which also include the reticule shape next to them (Arm and Torso weapons).
If you press CTRL and move the mouse, you can move the arm reticules seperately while in free look.
The problem however, is that you will loose orientation of the arm reticule quite often during a fight. This however isnt something that PGI can fix for you (or me sometimes) as it is 100% up to practice and keeping cool during a brawl.
EDIT: Also forgot to add: If your arm reticule is not overlapping with your torso weapons, you will have a thin line linking the 2 reticules. This is always the easiest way of tracking where exactly your arm reticule is if it is far to the side of the screen, because all you have to do is look for the line and follow it away from the torso crosshair.
