[Weapon of mass destruction]

the concept to a scout missile is a controleable missile useable by light mechs/medium mechs only.
controable as in the sense of direction and speed can be controled.
so we basicaly have a Drone that gives a birds eye overview of the map.
the view could be shown in a window similair to x4 zoom

maybe its a bad idea, whatever im not realy familiar with the lore.

Mech Commander had these that would circle automatically from where they were dropped in expanding circles and could be distroyed with a single shot. IF they were to be piloted then your mech would be totally vulnerable while you did. could make an interesting rtactical change.

Very interesting. They had something like it in MS 5 before they saw the spread sheet.

hmm... first off, i´d say no
on a second thought..IF we got something like that, i´d not use them for scouts, since they have to move and can´t afford to stand still...i´d give such an ability to a commander role... but it must not be a threat to the scoutrole itself

A recon drone is some thing the Devs said would be apart of commander assets. Hopefully it would be in the form of a boomerang spotter plane.
