I was under the impression AECM acted as 2xGECM giving you the ability to double disrupt, double counter or counter and disrupt simultaneously acting effectively as 2 mechs with GECM. GECM currently does only 1 at a time.

BHP it would seem should be able to counter a single ECM Disrupt layer at a certain range.

Not sure why you got that impression. It doesnt exist in any mechwarrior games, lore or otherwise. Also, it perpetuates the "must have" nature of the modules.

I guess from SARNA. http://www.sarna.net...Angel_ECM_Suite

"When using ECCM rules, the Angel ECM Suite counts as two ECM/ECCM units (depending on how it is set) for the purposes of determining the ratio of ECM to ECCM in a given area."

Maybe I am not comprehending this all right, but MWO seems to work exactly as you would think given the SARNA entries. Leaving BHP to be the GECM counter and AECM to counter BHP.
