Seriously, this thing needs some documentation!
Does it take any keyboard commands?
Can I flag enemys and issue attack orders?
How do I issue a waypoint other than alpha?
Can I group friendlies into lances?

I installed one and started pugging, and
OMG! PUGS FOLLOW WAYPOINTS!
I was shocked... totally worth the three tons of space, but I need to know what else it can do.

Sidenote: Stalker-5S's make awesome command Mechs.
Comando-2D's considerably less so.

Well you don't need the command console to take command of the map view. Anyone can do that. The command console is just a place holder for now and doesn't do anything yet.

Good to know, but can anyone provide instructions on how to use the battlegrid thing?
The most useful thing in the world wold be the ability to issue the mother of all lancemate commands:
"Attack my Target"

Just a little bit of intelligent target selection and focused fire would make Pugging alot more fun.
