Devs this is getting to be rediculous these damn whinny cry babies that quit the the damn match before they die and Getting robbed of the kill is BS, its not so much the getting robbed of the kill that ****** me off as much as knowing some K/D Twit just cheated his stats to a No Death Match by being a quiting *****.

When NOT if When will this BS be fixed i am tired of getting robbed by quiting whinny children that can handle a death.

i suggested to do like other games do...pot a discconect status right beside K/D ratio...point them out and a lot of them will stop doing it...

The worst part about it is, it really screws with the cadet bonuses for the new comers. Kill's give you CB, but more importantly, the Assists give you more. when they leave they rob the newbies the ability to purchase their first mech.... taking the real game aspect out for them, and making the MWO community smaller.

thats the issue.

They get no xp or cbills for the match if they do it so they're only really hurting themselves. You still get a kill too even if they're disconnected.

No pay for the kill and if it is the last mech the game goes on till a cap win or time out. I actually lost a game I should have won because he disconnected right before the killshot and we couldn't get the bases back in time.

I've never seen anyone DC before death in over 6 months of playing. How do you even do it? Usually i died so fast i don't even know who got the killing blow.

Maybe you're finishing people off with a single small laser and they're getting bored : /

Give dc's 0 reward for the match. Record dc as part of stats.

People that dc already get no further rewards than what they've already earned.

There's no way to tell if someone is "ejecting" or if it's a legitimate DC. Just allow dc deaths to give cbills and xp. Then you can't really complain about them.

Or...
Implement the ability to rejoin the match after a DC. and...
A person DC's. (alt-f4, or CTD, w/e). Server recognizes that the connection is disconnected from the mech. The server keeps the mech active (able to be killed and grant awards to the killers). However, he's still treated as a DC and even if the team wins or loses he won't get any other awards (as it is currently). If after the one minute window is up and there is no re-connect, the server either destroys the mech and gives the message "JoeBlow has disconnected..". If there is a successful re-connect back to the active mech, the message is given "Joeblow has reconnected" (or no message at all)

rejoin/respawn in a battle after you died would be the worst idea for MW franchise..

:P

We're talking about reconnecting to a game after you legitimately disconnect (DC) from something like the game crashing or an internet hiccup. Not respawns.

Rage quitting will always be a part of gaming, but if someone does killing their mech should still give the killer XP, and cbills, if the devs cant find a way to add DC's to stats its not a game breaker for me but losing out on xp and cbills that is a game breaker I know this is still Beta but the DEVS really need to look in to this

It's just "Spoiler" behaviour.

Saw a classic of it in a Streakcat pilot last night. These people usually play cheesy builds, get lots of kills, but seek to deny others the right to say they got a kill against them.

In essence, they may not get anything out of it, but they spoil things for the other pilot who did some hard work for a kill.

If I were to do it, I'd do it only for people that use ECM streak ravens, or lagshielding 150 kph laser cicadas.

If I did this stuff, I'd allow any normal fighter who isn't a cheesy online douche to get the kill they deserve.

If I did this.

I'd like that too, however, it would probably be about 1% benefit, and 99% frustration. You'll usually reconnect into an already cored mech, so there's no point.
