Hi there all you fellow Mechwarriors and alchoholics,

Today I was recently re-reading Warrior: En Garde by Michael A. Stackpole in 1988, when I came across an idea from pages 140-141 and made it my mission to delve into making this a possibility for us all. I hereby present to you the recipe for the drink that Gray Noton, 7 year champion of Solaris VII, describes as a "PPC" for our enjoyment.

PPC - Particle Projection Cannon
1. Use a Brandy Snifter
2. Pour 4 shots of Grain Alchohol or roughly 3 oz.
3. Then proceed to cut it by pouring one of the variants:

Steiner: 2 shots or roughly 2 oz Peppermint Schnapps
Davion: 2 shots or roughly 2 oz Bourbon or Tequila
Kurita: 2 shots or roughly 2 oz Sake
Liao: 2 shots or roughly 2 oz Plum Wine
Marik: 2 shots or roughly 2 oz Ouzo

4. Lastly, garnish however you like or even cut further if necessary. But real men fight with their ejection seat turned off and take their PPC without any sissy decorations.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE!
This drink will etch not only glass, but more than likely any part of your body it comes in contact with. I take no blame for what a consenting person does with this drink or themselves once drunk. My only advice is, that once you take a sip DO NOT keep it in your mouth, or it will feel like the enamel is coming off your teeth and that you really have taken a PPC to the throat.

you ding bats, at 190 proof it WILL kill you with a single oz, hell a drop will blind you if not kill you, 3 oz will kill a bull rhino. as far as cutting it with 2 oz of other booze, that wont save you. anything over 120 proof tastes like battery acid, and is just as bad or worse for your guts.

I just read the german translation of "Assumption of Risk" by Stackepole in wich the Steiner PPC is made with corn schnapps ( 30- 40 % ) and peppermint schnapps. Should be way safer to drink this way.

The grain alcohol you buy at the store won't hurt you anymore then any other high proof liquor will. Now buying some homemade moonshine that might possibly do some damage as people have been known to use the copper tubing from car radiators in their stills. I've used Everclear for years to make everything from jungle juice to jello shots and some have even taken it as a straight shot (myself included). Nobody's keeled over or been struck blind. As far as a PPC goes I mixed one up once using some Captain Morgans to cut it with and it wasn't exactly the tastiest thing I've ever tried.

It most certainly WOULD NOT kill a person of average weight and liver health. The human body is more than capable of processing 3oz of 190 proof grain alcohol. You would, however, be pretty well drunk.

I mix up an "Atomic Cocktail" (Not the official bartender approved champagne and brandy drink) with two shots of grain alcohol, about 6oz of Blueberry-Pomegranate low-cal gatorade, and topped off as drunk with low-carb monster.

It'll drop ya, sure enough.
