Im In My House Chilling Atm thinking if I should buy Inception or not.

It may depend if I get into beta or not.

I right now got like nothing to play, so the sooner this game comes out the better.

If I do I will probably be cheap and go for the 30 dollar package, anyone else thinking of buying?

With only 3 posts on the forum and a newly created account I think you might be a little down the list for the Closed Beta...... you might get lucky though.... lol

I don't think "Post count" has any bearing on who is picked.

Maybe not post count as people write a lot of tosh on here but certainly what date your account was created and how long you have been following the game might, I would have thought the developers would try to give back to those people first, I doubt I meet that.

Really not sure about dropping that kind of cash without being able to play the game. I would be very hesitant to pay for a regular boxed title game without a demo or at least a very large volume of playthrough video material.

I do plan to support PGI but up-front payment for free to play titles is not something i'm wholly comfortable with.

And why would they do that?

If their model of play is like World of Tanks you will want the "Premium Mech" to bring in ingame money

I'm going to be buying the Elite Package it's like £38 so it's pretty cheap, I probably won't be able to play Beta becuase I won't be getting my new machine for at least 2 months though.

They have already said that these 'Premium' 'Mechs don't give an edge, all they do is help you earn XP and C-Bills slightly faster and thats about it, they may have different hard-points also but they won't be God 'Mechs where you shake in your boots if you see them.

so... exactly like WOT premium tanks.

anyways, I intend to purchase the $60 package, both to support the game and because if I end up wanting to get in game currency later, I would be kicking myself for passing up on this great deal
