Don't let it dissuade you. Just because you may not like the game, a utility for the game can be good.

There are several utilities like this out there. Twiddla and ATC come to mind.

Yes but we put in enough work as a community just look at all the apps and such, not saying I want it now but it would be nice in the future. We should be playing the game not making apps for it and putting together info for us to use.

The map coming in March now is going to be 4 times the size of the biggest map in game now. It will be big enough and it should be the first of many.

yeah, I remember when DICE said that BF3 will have the biggest maps in the franchise. they indeed gave us large maps, with play areas the size of a pinhead.

What we need is a set of guidelines and a community map-making and submission process. PGI / IGP gets final approval.

You just don't get it I would like it here inside the forums with a few things extra that make it designed to work with this game better.
Plus not have to upload stuff to it and get rid of the waste of many people's time.
Plus they will prob charge money or make us look at stupid ads to use it just like http://www.gtactix.com/
Now any other remarks or did you even think before you posted?

Hi,

I am the creator of Map Tactic. It is intended to be a free service - using ads now and most likely will keep it that way.

We created the application to be game 'independent' but there's more to it than just loading a new map. If any of you are interested in discussing how we can adapt to this environment please message me.

no I didn't, I read the website and took the developers at face value when they said their app could do something
but then it does also say beta so I will cut them some slack

I would prefer it if PGI's devs concentrate on netcode / bug fixes and real maps, rather than giving us an online version of MS paint with 2D versions of their maps preloaded though... particularly when someone else is already working on this and seems quite happy to pre-load the MWO maps when they are closer to having a finished product
