It would be great to see Jenner, Hunchback and Atlas variants up-close and personal and perhaps customised. Katapult brandishing big beams is great, but even the Dragon (which appeared in the media later than former mechs) was already clearly shown in two variants. And still the Swayback's external features are only momentarily seen in one of the videos. No custom loadouts shown for Jenner F, leaving us to guess - is the deleted missile hardpoint for extra armor the only difference from D variant. And I believe there were no Atlas variants shown.

If the Catapult in the foreground doesn't find a good position, he's done quickly. Truth be told, I would have to go with the Atlas's, unless there are some good pilots in the Cats.

Also, I noticed the dash under the holo's, and it's beautiful. I can't wait to see it on my own computer screen.

2 Atlas?
2 Catapult?

If LRMs don't home at this distance, its a game of attrition.
Team with best shooting wins.
Other wise it would be the 2 Atlas...nothing beats 200 tons and firepower....

S!

//edit

the Atlas in front of us, should fall back and trap both Cat between the man walker.

I think the Catapults won.
By the way, why don't you show us different maps? Sure, this map is beautiful, but I've seen another map in one of your screenshots (http://mwomercs.com/...warfare-part-i/) and it looks great, so why didn't you use it anywhere else?

Good question. It definitely looks like another map. I wonder why they don't show it? Maybe because it's dark , or relatively drab. It would be nice to see that cave map tho.

Cheers

I believe the southern two enemy mechs are both facing away from the perspective mech, which makes me think that the fourth from team Atlas is in that direction, beyond radar range of the perspective mech. Overall, looks like team Catapult got caught in an ambush in that open ground, especially since their mechs seem to be in a movement formation while team Atlas is in a rough semi-circle around them (if, in fact, that fourth mech is further south), and it seems the perspective and close Atlases just emerged from the hillsides to our perspective right.

the forth atlas is dead lol

The Atlas Shrugged :P BTW the screens are looking awesome. Anyone know if all the settings are up on the screenshots? I am assuming they are.

Team Atlas have got this; if my recent playthough of MechCommander 2 is telling me anything vaugely correctly, Catapults are made of paper and (in this picture) are not at optimal range, Atlases have shotguns on their hips and are having a knife-fight with the victims.

team atlas will loose, the perspective atlas and the atlas in front will give the catapult a pounding but, the perspective atlas is surrounded and will get focus fired, and judging by the direction hes headed he will try to fleet to try and save himself from some damage after he whacks on that catapult but he will take to much damage and fall, then the three or two catapults will then turn fire on our second atlas here and he will soon be in a world of pain (he may or may not finish off the Catapult in the middle). The atlas (assuming its another atlas) that is seen to the NW will be all to slow to make it there in time to change this outcome, especially where the catapult closest to him is being protected from the rear by that massive rock. Also, at least in other MW games, water further reduced maximum speed, thus making that Atlas in the distance all that much further away and he will find himself, i think, fighting a 3v1. Lastly this seems to be a 20min match, and the clock has only ticked about a little over 2mins and 45secs so the only damage done to the 4 Catapults as a group is minimal, though the one in the middle seems to be already taken some damage (I think).

Hmmm... what's going on with the right arm (toward the left-hand side of the screenshot) of the Atlas on the right side of the screenshot?
Is that something behind it (with a trick of perspective), or is that something bulky attached to it the arm itself? :(

Am I the only one who thinks he's seeing Cat's with somewhat narrower bodies and more pointed noses now? (of course it may just be an effect of angles and range...) :D
Let's compare:

Judging by the cockpit, I'd say that Catapult is sorely outgunned. It also seems that an Atlas' cockpit is on the right side of the head of the Mech. Good to see nothing has changed. :3

Id say given this match up, its going to come down to piloting skill rather then numbers. Its almost a given that the Cat in front is going to be toast. If the POV Atlas can avoid getting hit in the front center long enough for the other 2 teammates to provide cover he can then turn and add his firepower for at least a few shots even if he does get taken out by the remaining mechs. He is moving at max throttle twords his teammates Also If he simpy turns his torso he can avoid exposing the damaged armor.
IMO at this point its all about the piloting.

IMO The perspective Atlas unloads SRMS, AC, and 2 Med lasers. Taking out the damaged Cat in front as quick as possible.
Then at whatever top speed he can get runs forward towards his buddies. While popping shoots at the other Cat in front left view. While the other Atlas focuses fire on one of the rear Cats following perspective Atlas.
When and if he makes it to his commrads. He'll pivots and turns around and buddy Atlas start back walking. Now if perspective Atlas is still online and able to fight. They back to their 3rd mate. Then all strafe right around the rock. That way if the Cats try to use their speed the Atlas team keeps the rock to their backs.

Atlas win

LOL

This one I think is gonna be real close- The K2's out number the Atlas's and we know that the POV Atlas and the the K2 he has tergeted will both be gone soon - if the K2 's are set up like the targeted one they are packing a pretty good punch from med range where they can use their speed to shoot and scoot to stay out of the Atlas's firing capabilities- However the Atlas's boast significant armor and if they can get within range can hit pretty hard witout over heating wich the K2's have to watch out for with the laser weapons. I love both mecs but I'm gonna give it to the K2's in this.
