I think it would be the Griffin. Was my first good mech in Battletech. Good long and medium range fire power and looked great. But the thing was built to charge. At 55 tons moving at 5/8/5 It was fantastic at killing scouts but any time you hit that magic 8 hexes from target you could garantee a massive charge was to follow.

Mine will resolutely be an Unseen 'Mech. The Warhammer.

That is the picture that made me buy the box set knowing nothing about the game. She was my first date to the prom and will always be my first love.

This is a situation where I cannot choose only one. I feel completely in love with both the Commando and Griffin when I first started playing TT. Both Griffon has looks and a great spread of firepower across the range bands. The Commando just has character. There is something about taking down a bigger mech that feels good with the Commando.

Crusader. First mech, and so many great memories over the years. customized pretty heavily over the years to add jump jets and some limited clan tech, but man I tell you, there was nothing like the thrill of that first jump, firing 42 missile at my target, hitting with all of them, and watching the explosions, bring down the maraunder.

I really like the Wraith obviously, but for an all time favorite it would depend on the day and today it feels like a Warhammer day. The Warhammer just makes me think Battletech as when I started playing it was plastered across the front of a large majority of Battletech products. Kind of like how the Madcat and Atlas are now.

It was Cauldron Born, but then I thought it would be good to try out some mechs of the era.

I ended up with Shadow Hawk, as it seemed good for me. I'm still open to others, because SH won't make it in probably and I never actually had a chance to test it out. :P

The Warhammer was probably my first love, along with the Timberwolf (Mad Cat) and Marauder. But my go-to 'mechs that I would probably consider my most favorite would be the Zeus and the Hellbringer (Loki). As much as I haven't been a Dark Ages fan, some of the Clickytech renditions of the Zeus were quite nice. My love of the Hellbringer stems from playing MW2 online ages ago and finding what was a kick-butt arena fighter configuration that I was unstoppable in, I called it the Pit Viper.

It's hard to answer, cause three mechs are on my personal first place.
Annihilator (ANH-2A, ANH-1X), Warhawk (Prime) and the Tarantula (ZPH-1A)

Hmm...today the Tarantula is on 1. place! :P

I played Tabletop 25 years ago and I loved to go into combat with a Crusader or T-Bolt. I know people have much love for the Marauder, but I could often tear a Marauder down with either of these mechs despite the weight difference.

The Scorpion, it's simply awesome, it looks sweet, extremely stable while firing, has great heat management, has high speed (though the lack of jump jets is upsetting :P) can move sideways, lower it's hull, and that PPC allows for long range fire support, and the SRMs are great for self defense and pack quite a punch, it's a shame ill probably won't see it make it's way to this game, even if it fits the timeline
