TAG for what - there are mechs witch targeted, but nothing happens

Your team needs to hit/missile them and you get spot assists.

Once an enemy mech is tagged, you (or a friendly mech on your team not blocked by ECM) can target them with locking missiles. I highly recommend a TAG on every missile boat these days, and TAG on scout mechs when on a team with missile boats is also very helpful.

TAG helps on your own missiles too - they log the target faster. Very helpfull on Mechs with SSRM.
