Recently I've had some odd health issues come up and been in and out of doctor's offices and what not to get poked and prodded so they could figure out what was wrong with me.

Essentially what it has come down to is that I have somewhat low blood pressure. Because they're somewhat normal for me, I've been instructed to drink lots of caffeine, keep smoking plenty of cigarettes, eat lots of salt, and to participate in things that are 'intense' to help keep my blood pressure up where it needs to be.

So... thank you to my fellow Mechwarriors for providing me some intense matches that help keep my heart racing and me healthy! Without you guys (some salt, caffeine, and nicotine) I wouldn't be as healthy as I need to be! ;)

So... this cup of cappuccino is to you guys. Keep up the good work! You're helping to keep this Mechwarrior in the pilot seat!

Uh... I think you should get a second opinion.

Adrenalin from gaming will raise your heart rate a bit, but not in the same way that physical activity does.

But I can't say jack squat, the closest thing I've gotten to "exercise" recently being some Yoga classes I started. Not exactly strenuous ;)

Nice scenery though...

Maybe time for a support role with a good team.

Well... this is actually the 5th doctor I've spoken with about this and had numerous tests and what not. It's not so much about the heart rate as it is about the blood pressure. Apparently I have a very strong heart (from what they say) and my lung capacity and blood oxygen levels are excellent as well. Low blood pressure runs in the family. Honestly, it's working... I'm feeling better by following her advice.

Haha... well... yeah. For now anyway. Eventually quitting smoking is the goal, but for now they want to go with 'what works' and what my body is used to as opposed to giving me medications to compensate for a change in my normal habits. I had cut back on the smoking, nicotine, and caffeine when all this crap started. So eventually the plan will change... this is just kind of 'for now' since it's what my body is used to getting.

Ahhh okay. Well the best medicine is healthy food (not the walmart stuff...the organic stuff). ;) I know I know. I sound like a hippie but its pretty amazing how it can change your body. Those big food and drug companies may seem like they want to help but they just want your money. There doing the same thing cigarette companies, and alcohol companies have been doin for years. Hope you get better though -_-

Thanks. Me too. I've been getting better and feeling pretty good/normal today. I expect that will improve over time.

You know what they say... eat right, exercise, die anyway! ;)
