Paragon is a mercenary unit that functions, first and foremost, as a a competition team. As participants in the Run Hot or Die League, we are focused primarily upon achieving victory in that contest, while eagerly seeking other opportunities to engage in formal competition elsewhere within the community.

Our members are highly skilled, active, competitive, organized, and dedicated to victory. The vast majority of us play daily, and we engage in formal practices four nights per week (Tue, Wed, Thu, Sun 8:30-11 PM ET). Our practices consist, mostly, of formal scrimmages vs. other high quality teams.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Competition Team Member (1 opening)
Reserve Competition Team Member (2 openings)
Non-Competition Team Members (No limit)

Ideal applicants for the competition team will be very skilled, dedicated pilots, with AT LEAST 2-3 competition mech builds mastered out. They will also be mature, competitive, and able to attend ALL practices.

We will choose from among the best players available to fill our one (1) primary team member slot, and the remaining players will be asked to fill reserve spots until such time that we have openings available (12v12 is on the horizon, according to PGI, and we are hoping to be ready to go immediately when that happens).

Paragon also happily accepts those highly skilled players who may not be interested in competiton, but would like a regular group of highly skilled, mature players to drop with when they're in game. Those members of Paragon who are NOT on our competiton team are free to play and attend practices at their leisure.

If interested, please fill out an application below:

What's with the lambda symbol on your website being a link to a picture of that same symbol?

@Barrett: The majority of our core 7 have 15-20 mechs or more, including all, or almost all, of the competition builds we use. Most of us are specialized (I normally play lights), but we could easily switch things up in the event that we find the right pilot. We tend to lean toward bringing the player, not the mech, especially since most competitive situations result in us having different mech combinations on each drop anyway.

@Rannos: I believe that's just a placeholder. The website is a work in progress.

I can vouch for the skill of the members of Paragon. Have rolled more than one team into dust when we get lucky enough to have our 4-mans paired up. Although they are few, it means that their coordination is seldom outmatched.

Many thanks for the kind words Alaric. We are looking forward to Thursday's scrimmage!

I'm just a lowly Paragon recruit, but it is important to be comfortable using voice comms and understand and implement basic radio use protocol, too.

I'm not a member of Paragon. But if my RL would allow me to partake in thier practices, I would definatly sign up. It is much better being on thier team, then on the business end of thier smoking barrells.

Thanks Barret.

Good group of people, high play time and always enjoy facing them. If you're looking for a team, Paragon is a good choice.
