I only have my 4 founders, a Jenner (my joke build slot which has so far been used for a 6 ppc awesome, 3 ppc jenner, 4 machine gun + large pulse laser cataphract, and now occupied by a 6 flamer jenner), my cataphract 3D, and a raven 3l that has been collecting dust for ages. Will probably buy all 3 spiders on release which will require me to get another mechbay or two with my founders MC.

I've probably spent somewhere around 50 mil on fake joke mechs >.>

Cataphracts 4X & IM, Atlas D-DC, Raven 3L, Jenner 7D and YLW are in garage at moment.

All Catapults mastered. Also all Atlases, Ravens, Commandos and Jenners are mastered...

Clearly I have no life ;)

I have 31 mechs. 1 of them is the Founder Catapult, 5 Dragons, 4 Centurions, 6 Hunchbacks, 1 Atlas, 5 Cataphracts, 4 Catapults, 3 Stalkers, 1 Commando and 1 Awesome. One of the Cataphracts is an Ilya Muromets, it is the only hero mech that I own. The Atlas is the DDC, but I really hate it and it is rarely played. I am most likely going to sell my Awesome, 2 of my Stalkers, my Commando and 2 of my Catapults.

I hate switching out all of my equipment to play a different build on my favorite mechs, so I have several of my favorite variants to make it easier for me. I used a lot of my Founder's MC to buy mech bays, and the only mechs I bought with MC are the Hero Mech, 1 Centurion and 1 Dragon. Everything else was bought with c-bills.

My question for everyone: How many XL engines do you have? My long term goal is tohave at least 1 of every engine in the game, STD and XL, but I seem to favor the 300XL and I have about 8 of them currently, lol.

No STD-engines, Atlas has only STD300.
XL-engines...from XL245 to XL340 at least one each.

Not bad at all. I have quite a few XLs myself, but none higher than a 325 right now. I do have a few in the 190-225 range, but I need to get a few more to have the options of using them when I need them.

I've got 16 mechs.

3 variants each cat, raven, cicada, cataphract, stalker and 1 Illya muromets. And until i can sort my mechbays i can't sell any of them (I probably won't anyway) because it would leave gaps.

Curious why you buy more than one of a certain varient. Not a jab or insult. Just curious. I've thought about it, especially for versitile mechs like the catapults that I use for short range, but have a good long range build I swap in sometimes. I would assume it's so you can have 2 different loadouts, or so you can drop and if you get destroyed you can drop the same mech into a different game.

Most likely to have different loadouts readily available, like a Stalker 3F in LRM configuration and another 3F in Brawler/SRM config.

i have 15 Mechs ATM with 13 of them mastered, and with all the money that you gain by leveling the mechs, i think about doing the same for my favorite mechs.

alternatively maybe buing a normal version of a founders mech to apply paint schemes (i do NOT plan on doing that sthough ^^)

I just like to have the ability to play around with different loadouts on my favorite chassis and not have to rebuild it to my preferred loadout when I need a break from experimenting. Especially if that "experimenting" involves switching from DHS to SHS, adding or removing ES or Artemis. The costs associated with switching those on and off can be really high if you need to do it often, so I will have 1 chassis with ES on and another with it off, I use DHS on every mech I currently own though, so that is not much of a problem for me.

All the time in the world won't buy you more mech bays.

I've mastered a mech in each weight class but without the MC to buy mech bay slots I couldn't keep them after I finished the EXP grind. Had to sell them to make room for the next 3 variants.

That said, there hasn't been any reason to keep most of them. It isn't like I'm going to want to play a centurion again when there is no penalty for playing a light/heavy/assault instead. Same goes for 2 out of 3 of the Raven variants I played---all of which I leveled pre-ECM, lol. Then you look at the Atlas variants and there just isn't that much different between them. Keep a D-DC and you're good to go.

So yeah, I value mech bays far more than the c-bills I lose on resale of a mastered mech.

4 Founders and 4 hero mechs included in: 3 cicada, 3 raven, 1 jenner, 3 centurions, 1 hunchback, 3 dragons, 1 catapult, 1 cataphract and 3 atlases. Weirdly tempted to add a second flame as I have 2 very different setups I use for those.

all my mechs are unique now... was thinking of getting another CPLT-A1 to setup a streakcat... but i still have my cataphracts to buy... maybe when i have 1 variant of each then i'll go for another A1.

good work! highest count so far and you are probably the only one in the "40 & up" range...

my favorite XL engines

XL260 - LRM Cat / Founders Hunchie / Centurions
XL300 - very versatile
XL340 - cicadas / cataphracts / centurion 9-D
XL360 - Atlas K / Dragons

i typically buy all the variants of a chassis... so i take what engines i have in consideration before venturing out to buy a new chassis type...

I have only ever bought 5 mechs. Yeah, I know. I only had 2 until the release of the marmoset. 2 Hunchies, a COM-2d (before it was cool :D), a CTF-4x and a marmoset.

EDIT: I also bought an Urbanemech, so make it 6... :)
