If you're in a fast mech with JJ you can perform some crazy angle turns. Begin circling your enemy, fire JJ just enough to lift off the floor, hard right or left and then drop. The sudden shift in momentum seems pretty drastic on my screen, not sure how it looks to enemies but it feels confusing.

Typically when I'm dueling I circle, between shots or waiting for cool down I look down and swing my torso left and right. I figure it helps spread lasers over my full torso and makes it very hard to head shot me.

I think ideally elevation change is the best defense if you rely on speed you're basicly relying on latency but elevation can throw aim over your head.
