Except when we fight the filthy encroaching Mariks, who condemn any world they occupy to anarchy and infighting, or the Davion-serving traitors of the St.Ives Compact, who seem to have been rightfully restored to Liao control, which will perhaps reduce the shame they should feel for betraying their people and leaving them at the mercy of the Steiner-Davion butchers.

I have no freaking idea... I know it won't be the Cappies, and Steiner is as unlikely as the Intergalactic Norse Empire, but the other three Houses are all nice choices. I will need more information on how the choice affects the actual game before I can pledge my allegiance to either Marik, Davion, or Kurita. And if there aren't any effects, I will roll dice, but never ever I will become a merc or lone wolf.

That being said, if Comstar ever became a playable faction I would seriously consider switching over.

For my part, I plan on sticking to stock mechs, but I like my C3 systems, and I want the challenge of fighting the Clans. Since most C3 designs are DC mechs (might have something to do with them inventing the system, go figure.) I'm gonna wind up going with them. Always did like the Jenner, and hopefully I can turn the Founder model into a JR7-K or JR7-C if I can actually find a Lance packing a C3 computer

why are steiner and davion seperate? shouldn't we have the fedcom faction in this era? they don't split for a few more years at least, the whole Lyran Commonwealth and Federated Suns thing is done, Hanse and Melissa are married, the realm is joined and nasty little Katherine hasn't mucked things up yet.

Hanse and Melissa are consummated but the Lyran Commonwealth and Federated Suns still have their pants on even if they're sleeping in the same bed and spooning.
