I had an old Logitec Extreme 3d Pro, but I didnt really like how it was performing in MW4 so...

Tonight I just went to that odd Electronic Shop around the corner and found a couple Saitek X52 Pro (Brand New), asked the guy how much he asked for one and he said 75$... I was like "huh, wth ?!? How about 80$ Tax-In ?" and the guy said ok heh ;)

So yea, ill be using an X52 Pro to blow the Inner Sphere to pieces lol, up until the Clan shows up that is

At launch? Keyboard+ Mouse

When I get a job? Custom built Rig utilizing 3 monitors, 2 separate computers, it's own power generator, a racing bucket seat and a surround system + HOTAS + Rudder for turning. Ill let the Joystick handle torso twist because when you let go of a joystick it automatically centers. With a rudder you have to ease it back and forth. Hey, a guy can dream. Did I mention the exterior will resemble the cockpit of my favorite mech?

I spent a couple of hours getting two joysticks working today, and I think I'm officially a convert.

My HOTAS is still packed away somewhere since the move, so I've ordered a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick.
No separate throttle, but it does have a Z-axis stick for torso-twisting goodness (something I've enjoyed since the original Microsoft Sidewinder 3D Pro and MechWarrior 2).

My preference (and hope) will be enough support to put my TM Cougar, RCS and TrackIR to work.

The RCS actually dates back to my MW2 days.

I was using a Razer Naga and a keyboard for MW4Mercs recently and some friend told me to try a flight system so i did, and i gotta tell ya. Trottle stick and joystick work wonders they are very good use you get used to em. Some ppl will say mouse keyboard for shooters but honestly this isnt a normal shooter. your turn rate is governed and has a max depending on the mech, and your twist as well. Joysticks will give you a more "PILOT" feel also. Id suggest *if you have funds* a saitek x52. it will work just fine for MWO.

Also keep in mind that the functionality works a little bit better and easier with a flightsystem than rummaging thru the keyboard for keys.

Alot of this could be personal pref tho. so really its up to you and the feed back ya get.

Mouse and my Nostromo n52. I've got a Thrustmaster Hotas with separate throttle, but the I keep going back to the mouse and Nostromo. It's just faster and more accurate. Being able to do custom keybinds and macros also gives a Nostromo the edge.

I'll experiment with my mouse (naga) and an off-hand controller.
Will look for a better keyboard if that doesn't work out.
