So just for the heck of it I was curious about how much MC I could get if I sold my CTF-4X since it's basically a wasted mechbay slot. To my surprise it came out to about 1/5th of what I had spent in total on that mech. Am I the only one that thinks this is nuts? There's zero reason for there to be such a poor return on your sales. And It's not like you can buy MC with money.

Yeah it is pretty ridiculous. There is not much point in selling anything but a mech when your mechbay is full.

PGI probably did this in a knee jerk reaction to what was done in early beta. To make money there you just bought a mech with mc and sold it and had a boatload of cash to do what you wanted and no grind.

Okay, so I guess I'm just a NOT SMART DUDE (thanks language filter) because I don't see how this is bad. People were buying those mechs with real money. Now they are not, so PGI is losing out on the money they would normally be getting from this. Heck, it's not even Pay to Win because it's all stuff you can grind out normally.

I'm just waiting for someone to suggest a trading/bazaar/auction type thing to buy/sell other players mechs and/or equipment.

When I sell a mech I would like to get some $$$ for the upgrades. I would also like to be able to convert from non art to art, or from std to endo without paying full price each time.

Yeah, I'm not sure if they calculate that stuff in. If they don't, they certainly should.

Also it would be nice if maybe Support could help me out. I tried emailing them and they weren't very helpful.

Don't sell any weapons, eventually you wont need to buy anything to outfit a new mech.

I would just like to not have to pay to change my upgrade choice, twice now I've purchased an upgrade and then had to buy back the original because I couldnt do what I wanted with it and so wanted to go back to what I had.
When this takes a whole night of my limited play time in earnings, I tend to leave the game alone for a little while and use my time in other, more productive ways.
