These are the facts from my perspective as a player who plays with a clan group, not character clan but actual group of players on Team Speak.
The game influences team play and voice communication. The real only way to counter ECM effects is to be able to communicate your position related to grid reference during a match to fellow team mates.
The srm catapults are fantastic but limited, The cataphracts with Ultra ac5 are playing a russian roulet game with jamming and DDC atlas are just targets for TAG.
The commando 2D and Raven 3L are just cannon fodder for any one using srms or ac20/ ac10 even gauss.
Now when people reference a single Raven taking down a Atlas. really any mech that runs fast than a atlas can easily get behind it and destroy it one on one. (unless the atlas pilot is good)
The gauss cats explode when people dont utilize the range it has and it is 100% long range and perfect for support counters.
The Fang ( i mean the Flame ) is gods gift being able to fit ac20 on a mech that runs 81km., ( my favourite ).
This game has came along way sinced closed beta and as a beta tester i cant wait to see whats next.
I love the fact that the game requires the latest graphic cards on the high end market to play it. To keep the visual eye candy wanting as all games should. Mechwarrior rebirth should incorporate current visual standards and more.
When the knockdowns come back it will be a joyfull day for many in clan organised groups. The skill of piloting shouldn't be how quickly you can run.
