Happening to me about 60% of the time or more. Doesn't bring up the score screen both during a match, and once dead and looking through other mech's "eyes". Only a problem since the latest patch, and I confirmed that the Tab key that I am using is correctly mapped. It works sometimes, just not the majority of the time, which means it's a bug!

Try pressing "t", "y" or [enter] after you're dead.
I think it's a bug having to do with dying (either you or the person you are spectating), hotkeys and the overlay layer that brings up the chat window, the score display, and the battlegrid map. Happens to me all the time, and sometimes you can clear the error condition by making the chat window come up with the above keys.
Here is the "known issue", although it only mentions the chat window.
