Based on the deviant art comments, and a check of sarna it is a "Kanazuchi battlesuit" (http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Kanazuchi).

According to master rules, I believe it to be an early draconis march battle armor suit. If you look closely he is actually just closer in the foreground.

Great one, Spooky. Love the details like Hunchback, LRM and laser fire of mechs we don't see, etc. Altough some teeny-tiny details are ringing the geek alarms of mine (weapon choice of Capellan infantrymen 3070+, Big Mac is already a House unit and does have Liao symbols on mechs, lack of the BA, wrong usage of tactic in an elite unit, especially completely outdated mech doctrine and mech choice --- yeah, those Cavaliers have really bitten you very, very hard ). But this is an art piece, not a battle report.

BTW, could I ask what are those fighters/bombers sweeping in at the scene? And what's that Quickdraw holding?

IDK Adridos, that Cappie infantryman in the back ground standing there with his gun pointed at the ground looks JUST like most of the CCAF did in 3028.........

The Liao symbols are not visible because the mechs are showing their left side to the viewer, thats where the unit insignia is (the grey triangle with an angel inside) hard to spot on the dark mechs...

Sometimes it is difficult to find a suitable spot on the mech to apply the symbols and insignias when it comes to canonical placement of decals...

BA on CC side is somewhere off screen... How can you evaluate the tactics based on a still image?
