Everything says I should be going 61kph.

The mech stat in mechlab says this mech goes 61kph

but it goes 67.2 kph in game. whats up with that? i mean i'm not complaining. i love going fast but it just doesn't make sense to me its going as fast as if it had a 270 engine

61*.10 = 6.1

61+6.1= 67.1

You have speed tweak unlocked it seems. Skill based bonuses aren't shown in your mechlab stats.

i have the feeling they changed something in the enginerating/ mechweight relation for speed determination... i realized that on my cataphract when i did some math´s and found out it was too fast for the engine... w/o speedtweak at that point

I had a similar confusion with my one hunchie last night... Stock engine, running faster than the indicated specs.... and then it clicked...
