Gaussdragon, I think this is both an excellent and timely poll, nice to see one not filled with garbage filler.
Thank you, I appreciate that.

1. Netcode -This one facet borders on so many other issues, I feel it is impossible ot judge those other issues accurately untl the netcode is in a place where it cannot mask or exascerbate other issues. Netcode for me is linked to the hit box issues, collisions, weapons balancing, map bugs (missle penetration, getting caught, holes), game mode balancing.
Exactly! Nailed it.

2. New maps - And by new I mean "not simply palate shifted retreads, a la Diablo monsters" we do need some variety and I have high hopes for the desert map which should hopefully offer a larger, open environment for longer engagement ranges, but enough room to maneuver around one another. Caustic is like this a bit, I would also like to see something like a jungle map, where the terrain and vegetation is a hindrance without being a barrier to movement.
Again, amen. I've never been the most 'MUH IMMERSIONS' minded player, but one of the things I most fondly look back upon in MW4 was the scale of the maps. Sometimes it was refreshing to have unusual spawn points in a match so you could discover entirely new parts of the map. If you look at MW4 heatmaps, it would have been a few concentrated areas of action with huge, untouched areas with no activity. It was nice to just get lost on those large maps and go exploring from time to time. With the sheer size and number of MW4 maps, it seems there were always corners of maps I'd never been to before.
Also, if PGI simply made the rest of the maps remakes of MW4 maps, I'd be happy, nay, ecstatic. I'd love, love, love to see PGI do recreations of some MW4 maps like Frostbite, Dustbowl, Equinox, etc only in DX11... I'd **** myself.
