To all the teams we played with tonight on 8 Mans, Just wanted to give a shout out about the fun match's. Didn't win them all, but had a blast. I don't think we played the same team twice.

Special Thanks too Kong, they had us for one drop where we were trying out an untested (for us) Strategy, Odd collection of mechs, and lost our group leader to a CTD on start-up... ROFL. We lost, but there was good banter all around. Nice Drop guys.

yeah had a lot of fun with 8-mans tonight. Dropping 2-2-2-2 was a lot of fun. Had a very close match on RHoD, ended up losing 3-2 in the end but it was some excellent matches. We continued to drop 8-mans for the rest of the night and even though we faced a lot of teams with 5 assaults and 2 ravens we still enjoyed it a lot! I was dis-encouraged by those types of drops earlier this month but I got to say that when you put winning aside and just try your best with a balanced team you can have a lot more fun then if you feel forced to run 6 atlas ddc and 2 ravens. When you beat those cheese teams that just sit at their base in a firing line with a crap ton of atlai-ddc and your running hunchbacks and centurions you cant help but feel really good.

Good games guys and lets keep playing competitive 8-man drops. Shout out from the Antares Scorpions to the Black Wolves, excellent matches guys! Hope to scrim with you in the future!

oh well, cheesy but not unbeatable. Beating the "metagame team" with a conventional drop used in RHoD is so much fun. Who is more bumhurt, the 2-2-2-2 team that got beat by all assaults and raven 3-Ls or the team with all assaults and raven 3-Ls that got beat by the team running 2-2-2-2?

I ran in 6 games tonight with 2-2-2-2. It wasn't quite so overwhelmed with ECM like usual. Very nice indeed.

I think the best match's we had last night were the 3 we won by capping on Conquest. We ended the match with damage totals in the low 100-200's, and simply kept breaking contact and capping bases. In one case it was against the "Meta-Lance"... Good luck catching Dragons with Atli after you're ravens are dead lol. Might not have been the ideal Strat, but DAMN was it fun....and funny!

I love people who camp in 8 mans, then cry because they can't out snipe you, leave their cap open for your lights to jump on it for a bit, then call you all dicks in chat and disconnect.
Way to get into the community spirit guys.
