I don't know if this issue is already known but i'm going to post it anyway - just in case. ;-)

After playing about 20 games or so i get a 'fps bug'. That means that my fps drop rapidly whenever i focus an enemy on the map - doesn't matter if i see him already or not. When I then close the client i often get the following error message:

Runtime error:

Program: path to MWO

R6025
- pure virtual function call

This happens always when I play for a long time. If you need more specifications of my machine, just tell me.

That may be off topic, but if I use another program, that uses the .NET framework, i experience a lot of graphic issues in a short while.

Maybe that will also help even if it is a little bit vague. :-P

Hope you can fix this. Cheers

Didn't experience it yet (on two different grafic cards), but it is known to the developers. Not really simple to reproduce though, they said.

Moving this thread over to player support.

Thanks for the support Egomane ... i didn't know where to put this topic.

I have a Asus HD 6850 Direct CU II with the latest drivers.

Hope this helps and this issue can be fixed somehow.

Had experienced the Bug lately for 10 Seconds.

There are some theories that there is a Memory Leak in the Grafikcards and that would make sense.
Srry to say this but Iochinator you got the Card from the wrong Vendor.

In the Linux Community the Asus Cards are know to have an agressiv Firmware with less Error Correction,
i got a XFX HD6870.
It seems that my Firmware on my Card detected the Memory Leak and then Flushed the whole
Card Memory and then i was again at 35-40 FPS.

Best Option is to make you the Quickstart for MWO:
Go into the MWO Directory:
\Piranha Games\Mechwarrior Online\Bin32\

Rightclick on MWOClient.exe and copy it (Make Link) to Desktop.

Then Open Preferences of the new Item, go into Link and add behind the Target -nopatch

So it looks like

....\Bin32\MWOclient.exe" -nopatch

With this you start MWO faster and reduce a little the Computerload.

And be glad i know several Nvidia Users which have to relog every 5-6 games.
Nvidia cards are more prone to this bug as AMD Cards.

As i said i had it too but my Card recovered, if a card can do this it depends on Manufacturer.

Thanks for the tip, Elkarlo. I will definitely try that workaround.

But I don't think it's a problem with my graphic card per se, because a friend of mine, who has another graphic card (also AMD) from another vendor, also experiences this problem in the same fashion. Only restarting the client fixes the problem for him and me. Furthermore, I don't ever had any problems with this card at any game before whatsoever.

It may be possible, that my card is more vulnerable to this problem, than cards from other vendors, but still there seems to be a problem in the game.

If the workaround works for me, I'll let you know. Thanks again for your support. :-)
