With mechs constantly warping and me getting pushed back by lag, the game is almost unplayable. I have a good connection but my ping is always around 130.

I'm still playing because i can still use streaks.

I have a 130 ping too and i am fine ( except lagshield of course ). There must be some other issue with your connection.

Do you share your connection with someone, are you using youtube for music ( i tried that, it made my connection go crazy ) or are you downloading stuff?

Dude, when it was new, it was the cat's a$$. Super Mario Bros used to be wildly popular, and look at THAT game/graphics/playability. Hell, Pong was popular when it was new......

It seems to me that if your ping is at 130, then you probably have an FPS issue. If you were sharing your connection, your ping would probably be much higher.

Not always. My ping was fine when i was listening to music on youtube, but my connection was stuttering and i experienced rubberbanding and warping. The moment i stopped youtube, those effects were gone.

I am in AU so ping sits between 235-290, every game, always.
Save the alphas for when the target is running towards\away from you or just sitting there (tyvm assaults, keep it up)
When circle dancing, lead the target with lasers as you would with srm's (to account for the missile travel time), then lead projectiles a little further ahead of target than that - the cross-hairs turn red on a hit so it only takes a shot or two to see how far you need to lead the target.

eg, dancing with a AWS the other night in 4p. If I shot the CT it would glow all nice and hot but do no damage (?). If I aimed about half an AWS torso width ahead of the target, the cross-hairs would light up to indicate a hit. I am taking this as evidence for what I wrote above, but it is just my experience and I could be entirely mistaken in this interpretation of what I am seeing.

Do I still get too excited and aim at the circling light mech, wasting my shots? Yes, yes I do.
Is it unplayable? No, I do fine and I'm getting better all the time.
