MWT is a glorified TT emulator, with some weird collectible card system added to it. And I swear to Blake's pet toaster, the 'Mech designs look very anime:

They look like anime? Sounds like a truly authentic tt experience then.

I would like to point out, that as of today, RHI is offering a founder's program similar to the one PGI ran last summer. In fact, the buy in levels are almost the same prices, and the max is the same.

I mean more than usual. The Awesome, again, looks like it should be able to transform into an SUV.

Yep, I know about it. If I had my choice of unit schemes to go with that package, I'd consider it - but not with anything from Wolf's Dragoons. ):

I'm considering it, at least at the $20 level. I haven't been a real hardcore MW fan, so as far as unit schemes go, I'm not really attached to any. There are just a couple of things that I'd have to be sure of before I pull the trigger.

to keep it simple enough for even you to figure out, MW:O is for all intents "Mechwarrior 5" (as in the FPS/Sim) and MW:T, the new MechCommander (Turn based larger scale unit combat).

AKA, they are both in the same universe, but cover 2 totally different types of gaming. It's like complaining that there are multiple StarWars titles out at the same time... OMG!

the other details are as stated by others.

I wouldn't even call MW:T "the new MechCommander" - MechCommander was very much an RTS. MW:T is an emulator for tabletop Battletech, with a CCG mechanic for customisation and little weird buffs.
