So..not to ask a lame question but is it too late to become a founder? Like seriously if i had known this friggin game existed months ago i would have signed up. Considering the game is still in Beta stage it would make sense for their to be founders accounts available.

I found out about this game in early October I think it was, and even then it was a couple of weeks too late for founders. While I agree that the founder's badges might have been best suited for when the game was "live"-or just up until then, rest assured that you aren't missing that much. There is the discount on the MCs that you purchased with the pack (they have promotions from time to time for non-founders, so offset) and the founder's mechs aren't really "unique" in anything other than cosmetics if memory serves (not like a no-longer-purchasable hero mech).

We are only missing the cool little icon next to our names when we look at the scoreboard. Not exactly world ending, and it gives something for those who were here before us.

Entirely correct they have a unique paint scheme that cannot be changed and a 20% earnings bonus similar to the 30% Hero mech bonus. They are in all other respects the exact same as their purchasable counterpart, in my case an atlas D.
