need more missile slots to keep up with the rest of the srm pack spammers. treb feels backwards from what it should be. trebs = more missles, cent = less missles.

How much we stop trying to make every mech as fast as possible with maximum armor for it's weight and allow as many SRMs to be packed?

You miss the ENTIRE PURPOSE OF THE TREB. It is NOT DESIGNED TO BE A CLOSE RANGE FIGHTER in the missile varients... or really even the other 2 varients.
It is designed to be a counterpart to the centurion by giving it long ranged support while being able to keep up.
Centurions really should have less missile tubes (from 10 to 6) and be redesigned for SRMs. They are designed to fight in close ranges.
Also, the Treb can outrun most (not all) SRM spammers. The 3c can outrun any nonscout mech (lights + cicada) and the rest can still top 100 kph. (only close match is the cent D varient at the same speed as the 3c) This gives it a HUGE advantage over SRM mechs already. It can even match up very nicely against 3Ls if you use the right loadout.

Right now, the most viable TBT builds are two or three SSRM2 plus medium lasers plus big XL engine. Next most viable is double ASRM6 plus medium lasers.
This is my opinion, but the stock LRM loadouts just don't work consistently now. They would have been fine, even OP, pre-ECM. But packing just one or two LRMs is weak. (And no, the third missile hardpoint in the 7M with its one tube doesn't count for anything other than streaks.)
Also, I want to apologize to those I killed using streaks. They really are "I win" buttons.
Also, RVN-3Ls, I hate you.

^^ this. I used to mock SSRM + ECM complaints... but then I tried using a COM-2D and wow... it is easy mode.
