Given that we advance our characters through either pay or play I'm wondering how much time people plan to invest into play.

Number 2, but provided I dont get in early on closed beta, i will be taking july 17 off to play all day long!

i'll put in 4-5 hrs a day after work and alot more on my days off.

^^ That right there... some days more, some days less depending on what the family is doing... but if no early access... the 17th of July is slotted as a "vacation day" for me already...

If the game manages to capture my attention following the initial 40+ hour first 2-3 months, I'll probably settle into about 14 hours a week.

Depends on how much I value sleep. I can get used to 1-2 hours less sleep, I guess.. I will probably commit an average of 2-4 hours per day.

I'm playing it safe on this one because I don't know till I get my hands on the game, but hey if its good enough to my standards(I am extremely picky at what games I play) I'll do more than 28-42 hours a week.

If I really like a game I tend to get in a bit over 40 hours a week in it. All depends on how RL is going.

I am figuring about 57 hours a week. 7 hours a night mon-fri after work, then 11 hours sat and Sunday. I just ended up single again so plenty of time for gaming lol. I will only be able to put in this kind of time as I suffer from insomnia and average 4 hours sleep a night. I will also probably have weeks where I play less or more.

#2, I will only be playing when my uncle and our lance is able to all be on..otherwise the stupidity from WoT will most likely flood its way over here and I will get irritated with it to quickly and end up hating this game as I do WoT....I'll slow my degradation of intrest down as much as I can.

If my memory serves me correct, I think there already has been a poll on this... oh well!

I voted for just a couple of hours a day or so. Work, and other games (don't hurt me!) don't allow for much time to be dedicated to a single game.
