As far as my own testing has shown (which is limited) this module does not currently help against ECM with a tag. I thought it would be interesting if the module, when combined with a tag laser (or NARC), would give increased targetting time when the tag or NARC was not on the targeted mech.
In other words, you have the module equipped and you have tagged an ecm mech at the proper distance, then when your tag is no longer on the mech you still get to keep a lock on him for a period of time. This would help break the ECM bubble.
The module at level 2 gives 3.5 seconds of extra time when line of sight is broken. I am not sure if that amount of time should apply to the ECM mech, but some amount of extra time should help. I will not give a definitive amount of time as that would require testing.
I know a lot of ECM suggestions are being thrown around, and someone may have said this already, but I could not find it so here is the proposal.
