The Catapult is my absolute favorite mech. has been since i bought the founders pack, and i chose it as my founders mech. ran it before the days of LRM's are OP. in fact i was laughed at for piloting it a few times. i still like running them a lot even though you see a lot of people moving to the Atlas, Awesomes and Stalkers.

So, why not a Catapult Hero Mech? They're one of the most iconic mechs in the game, and im sure with the prevalence of SRMs people would love it. i know i would love to have a fancy hero design for my collection.

probably too much to ask but the CPTL-C2 looks insanely fun to me. but its a Dark Age mech

i'd enjoy paying for a hero catapult - especially if it would have the K2 torso, but with missile launchers
so...2x missile, 2x energy and 2x ballistic...that'd be the catapult that i could take comfort with until i get my vulture (which hopefully shows up in a similar hardpoint variant)

but i guess it will be a long(er) time until we see a hero catapult
guess the next heavy hero is a jagermech or orion

Since I pilot cats most of the time, I'd feel compelled to buy a Hero cat.

The Butterbee would be pretty cool, i will say. i'd take 4 energy and 4 missile hard points any day.
