If lagshield is caused by target + attacker ping, devs could create a solid or shadow construct, that will copy path of each mech in distance= targetping x targetspeed + averageping for the match x targetspeed. You will not hit the target, but the construct. It will not completely resolve the issue but will lover the distance that you must lead front of target.
But there are some issues"
- if construct is solid, mech can "hang around corner", mech will strangely collide with each other...ect
-if construct is shadow(only hitable area), mechs can turn himself invunerable by backin at wall and go full reverse
Imho lag shield should stay, but dev should reduce their armor cap by 50-70%, in all areas except legs and head - in favor of equipment(in that case also lover their heat dissipation). Also there should be buff on max jumjets that lights can equip. So they can fly over the battlefield for a limited time. Maybe this will make lights scout and not brawl, as it is now.
