Higher Ping Times After Patch?

This happened recently.
Given pings in other games are 20ms as usual has anyone got a decent comment out of PGI support?
Can they not contact Verizon for us as well (if its anything to do with Verizon) as clearly having half the East Coast going via Germany is not good. FIOS is the premium product so not even the remotest option using anything else for me....

Just joined BF3 US server and was on 34ms (empty ones were on 10ms).
My ping to Jaegar Planetside2 server = 16ms.
Rather a stretch to say its Verizon. With those I would say its PGI's ISP. I suppose just possible its some weird issue on the Verizon gateways but would have to be only to the PGI servers specific part of the internet.....
Can someone confirm they have emailed and are in contact with PGI tech support on this - as if not I will give it a go.

Mine was over 280 at one point today.
My damn phone is pulling 20MB, my computer tat should have three times the bandwidth is getting 2.1 like 3 minutes ago. I'm starting to get annoyed.

^^ that is the final jump before Toronto, and I would LOVE to hear how the hell I'm getting routed through Germany for a 6 ******* hour drive to Toronto.

Not sure who your service is but my service is routing me though GERMANY on the way to Toronto I posted a map link to the IP location for internaop-gw (yeah its that slow)
That being said Saturday night (I think it was) I had my normal 32ms pings for a few hours and my net was functioning at normal capacity.
I'm going to tear someone at Verzion a new one, starting with where the other 57Mbs of bandwidth that I'm paying for are going exactly.

Something that might be related to this, maybe not, I'm noticing a lot of missed shots and I don't mean I missed something I was aiming at either. I mean I hit fire and nothing happens repeatedly. I've just got out of a match where I hit fire *four* times and nothing happened. Shots not being acknowledged in any way has never happened to me before and I know the weapons weren't on cooldown.
To head off potential questions they weren't UACs, it was SRM6s that didn't fire. After the third attempt I even stared at the weapons to make sure they weren't on cooldown, tried a fourth time and then I was killed when they again failed to fire.

You are not the first person to experience this.
MWO is the only game that I play online that experiences this issue.
Either way, you are more likely to find a con dom machine in the Vatican than hearing something from PGI.

I have Verizon's DSL and have been experiencing the same stuff since the patch that was referenced in January and today (after the server going down for a longer period than expected) the ping was pretty normal for me.
Before the extended server outage, I'd get 150-200ms and on non-peak times (past 11PM EST) and today, I got a ping of 50-80ms. Is it just my luck or what?

While im excited to have this over with, im not getting my hopes up just yet - it could be a fluke, or temporary.

As of yesterday I'm back to normal.
After making it to T3 escalations with two divisions of Verizon, considering I'm mainframe computer guy by trade I love when they try to give me stupid answers. Spent two hours yesterday beating a guy over the head with speedtests, speak easy results and trace routs.
Linking the guy the mapquest link to the switch in Germany shut that dude down rapidly.
Still waiting for someone to tell me where the screw up was.
