In addition, streaks should drop lock (for them) when fired. This was actually suggested by another:

I like this idea because it will keep SSRM4's and 6's from being overly devastating to light mechs. Maybe when they are implemented they take longer to lock on than do SSRM2s, but that will be a discussion for when they are introduced.
I would also like to see Streaks and LRMs lock independently of one another.
And finally I believe that LRMs and Streaks should be able to lock on under ECM disruption effects IF they put the reticle on their target and not merely in the target box. But make it so it takes a couple more seconds to achieve a lock in such a manner. This would help make it so missiles aren't entirely neutered by ECM but are still drastically affected by it.
