Back before repair and rearm was removed, given I pug I had to activate to stay viable...

16 days left on mine.

2 mastered ravens, mastered founders jenner, 3 spider variants working to basic, 2 basic comandos (waiting for hero com to be my 3rd), one basic cicada, basic K2, one basic awesome, one basic stalker. Plus all the other mechs purchased and sold working towards elite skills.

11 current mechs, 21 counts of upgrades (ferro/endo/dhs/art)

5 expensive xl engines + standard ones too, 3 expensive modules. a few basic paint purchases.

Endless hours of derping around with stupid and crazy builds.

All up I think it was time well spent and activated at the right time, sure money and exp will come in slower when the time runs out and new stuff will be slower to get/grind up, but I now have this mech bay full of many "Finished/where I want them to be" mechs that I can use during my future time in Mechwarrior Online.

Edit: Also you can purchase more Premium time in 1, 3, 7, 30, 180, 360 packages so you can always buy 1-3 days for 250-650 creds for a future exp or money bonus weekend to get the best use out of it.

I'll have a reason to play when CW arrives, beyond endlessly stomping around on the same 4 maps for nothing but c-bills. So nope - not hitting the button until CW.

Down to 2 weeks of it left. I figure when it runs out I'll just buy more time as a need it.

I activated mine shortly (I think a week or so) after OB. Firstly I asked what others were doing, and most of it sounded like loss aversion to me. "I don't want to use it cause then I won't have it later". When I asked what people thought they would get later that they would not get now, they didn't really have an answer, but just "Things will be better then (Code, features, etc.) so it will be better to do it then".

For me, the calculation came down to, how do I get the most benefit/value out of it (With the benefit being defined as the extra stuff - Mechs/skills - I get/have as a result of the additional XP/C-Bills)? I made the following measurement:

The total area of benefit across my period of use is greater if I activate now as opposed to later, assuming the benefits of activating now are equal to the benefits of activating later, which I think they will be unless they later on create some sort of "Activate now to get a double XP bonus" or something like that, which I don't think they will.

I activated mine. I'm in my last semester of college, and I can't guarantee myself that I will have any more time than I do now to play (more than a few times a week at this point, probably less when the semester and my student teaching kicks in next week) after I graduate and find a job and stuff like that (not to mention, likely more school). So I 'd rather get what I can. Honestly, I'm not too annoyed by it.

The premium time was just a nice bonus for supporting a game that I want to succeed.

Waiting for the Clan mechs or community warfare. Or if they increase the rate of new content to the point I can't keep up I need the premium time. So far been able to unlock everything I want without it.

Won't start that timer until knockdowns are back in and netcode is improved, maybe even wait for CW (assuming they dont jump the gun releasing it before fixing the game), reason being I barely play now because they broke the game when moving to OB and haven't done a damn thing to actually fix the problems yet and just created new ones.

I decided there was no sense in waiting. With all the major tech in the game except the Clans, it was time to get ahead now, and stress about the rest later. Lets you go into CW without having to play any catch up.

Things going well, I should have all mechs Master Module Slotted by end of premium time, so I have the one mech type a month until Clans hit

I started mine and have about 12 days left. I started OB thinking I would wait till CW, clans, better code act.... But after a week or 2 I figure why wait. If I do it now I can get all the things I need and want. Plus who know whats going to be going on with this game 4-6 months down the road. Right now the game run well for me and I have the time to play.. Later if I need I can use my MC to buy a month, I think it come out to under $10 bucks. That less then some games that cost $14.99 a month that I have played for years.

Spent mine, it runs out soon.
Then i'm gonna give a certain other stompy robot MMO a try and give MWO a break as i have played it pretty damn hard since closed beta. It'll be nice to allow PGI to add some more stuff. Plus i have my Steam Sale back catalogue to spend some time on.

Naturally i'll dip in, but my 'Phract collection is finished now.
I'll probs still buy my mechs with MC, y'know, continuing support and all, but premium time is pretty dear.

I activated mine a month ago and am keeping the MC to extend it once it goes out of Beta, just want to make sure my fav mechs are all tested and modded the way i like with the modules available

Really usefull in that month i mastered cata's hunchies and stalker each for the 3 varients of my choice, most of my usage of MC's have been for mech bays

I'm holding onto it. It seems silly to turn it on when they don't have EU servers and are still testing a good chunk of the features yet to show up.
