Is it bad that I really kind of want to hear Claudia Black, or Victoria Kruger in my cockpit now?

Xanthe Elbrick would also be awesome (female sith inquisitor in SWTOR)

I had to vote for the music though. So many memories.

I voted for DUN-can Fisher, but having either of those two involved would make the game incredibly more epic.

Duncan Fisher, coming to you live from a war-torn hellhole!

I loved the commentary in my Solaris fights. I fought harder to hear the announcer deride the competition on my behalf.

YOU ARE SO EVIL!!!!

I want both Betty and Music please!!! PLEASE!!!

I do have to break down to Jeehun Hwang though... Betty sets the action but the music sets the atmosphere... plus I still listen to the MW2 soundtracks very often

Agreed on OP's meanness! :D

But as much as I STILL listen to Alper & Hwang's stuff on my current music player (thank you Redbook audio files :) ), I also have MW4:Mercs installed on a Win7 machine just to go play in the arena for the commentary...

...and I turn off the music and lower the effects volume to hear George's work. :D

would it be possible for each faction to have there own unique Cockpit voice? I cant really see a mek from house Liao using the same voice as a mek from Marik or Davion.

And i'm all about the cockpit sounds, its really adds a great level/realism to the game.

although i was/am a HUGE fan of Duncan Fisher.

I also had a hard time choosing between 1 and 3. Had to go with Carole Ruggier, though. Still love the music.

Remind me, who was Unther?

You may call him, 'Dead-eye'......

He was your instructor/mentor in the MW2: Mercenaries tutorial missions. Rides a Catapult, likes being strapped on top of a walking nuclear reactor in the morning, will turn the tin can you call a mech into scrap if you shoot him only ones and likes it if you let him do all the killing.

Jeehun Hwang wins for me btw, I still pop that cd into the player now and again. Betty is absolutely wonderful though, so I've got to chime in with all the people who said 'both'.

Duncan Fisher? Didn't do anything for me. Typical sports commentator.

Ah thanks for the refresh. While voices like his and the MW3 briefings work very well for their role, I do not know if they will have a role in a online game. No single player missions, no briefings, no story. While their is still an opportunity for training missions that is just something people may see only once. Things like the music, cockpit betty and match commentary are things everyone will encounter over the whole game, given they do not just play their own music in the background.

Cockpit Betty. I remember actually talking back to her when I played Mechwarrior2.

This would be the best cameo ever. If they had massive Solaris 7 ladders and you end up fighting against the man himself.

Thats the other thing that's stuck in my mind. Would we able to compete in solaris? if so how are they gonna make championships, arent the champions fixed in canon. Nonetheless i'd love to fight against duncan:)

Oh, don't worry, we'll simply give the canon champions godmode or some such.

If that would be the case, it would be a bad design and a very obvious one. Nobody enjoys a competition where you already know who the winner is. Its like watching a football game when you know the score of that match. Ofc alot of people would join just to experience solaris arena but it'd suck to know that even if you had godlike skills you would not be the champion:(

A solution would perhaps be another arena, solaris cant be the only arena in the galaxy now can be? At least that way we could be a champion.
